ABRSM EXAMS

Celist'sHands
If you have never taken an exam on your musical instrument, don't worry! Its' fun, slightly scary but gives a fantastic sense of achievement.

I only enter students for the ABRSM (Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music) instrumental and theory of music exams. These usually take place at the most local exam center. This is Netherton Arts Centre in the West Midlands.

Exam levels range from Prep Test, through Grade 1 and up to Grade 8. There are three levels of achievement - Pass, Merit and Distinction. All exams test Repertoire, Scales, Sight Reading and Aural ability.

Please visit the ABRSM website for more information or download the 'Exam Day Notes' attachment below.
